A haven for children with learning difficulties
Established in 2019, Hopeview Resource Centre is a local non-governmental registered entity based in Mzuzu, Malawi. Our main aim is to provide education to learners with varying degrees of learning difficulties at the foundational level. Our guiding principles are inspired by the recognition that learning is a lifelong activity and that every individual is unique and with equal intrinsic worth. The Centre targets learners who may experience learning difficulties for many different reasons. The learners may be neurodivergent (For ex. living with autism or ADHD), have Down’s syndrome, be intellectually challenged, under stimulated or they may be slow learners for other reasons. Our central focus is to develop understanding, appreciation, and respect for the challenges faced by children with diverse needs.
An inclusive community that values all people regardless of abilities.
To provide special education to children and young people with learning difficulties in our local community.
Driven by passion and expertise, our team is dedicated to transforming lives and creating inclusive opportunities for all children and young people.

In absence of compassion, love, and understanding of the uniqueness of each child, it is close to impossible to attain a unified education community. Delivering quality education to neurodivergent learners in a professional conduct is of paramount importance at Hopeview Resource Centre and the following are core values of the organisation.
As per goal 17 of the SDGs, partnerships are a magic wand in delivering services. We believe in partnerships to promote inclusive and relevant quality education beyond standard curriculum such as in sports, vocational training, digital literacy, and ex- pressive arts. Our partners are carefully chosen to provide access to promotion of relevant educational functional skills to neurodivergent children and young people with varying degrees of learning difficulties.
We work closely with the Malawi’s Ministry of Education (MOE) Regional Inclusive Education in the Northern zone. We also collaborate with Special Education Needs Experts in and outside the country.
